Season 6 Episode 11 Of Late I
Think of Rosewood
[ School Hallway, bell rings]
(Aria): Don't look at me, I'm ready to
hang a sign the bitch can see.
(Spencer): This is about betrayal?
(Mona): It's not about betrayal,
Spencer. - It's about revenge.
(Ashley): He knows we're lying. So stop
pining for the fjords and carpe hottie!
(Aria): I know it's over. - I know that.
(Juliet): Let go – cause I have.
(Emily): And yes. I know the dead girl
who isn't dead anymore.
[Classroom]
Alison: "When to the sessions of
sweet silent thought. I summon up remembrance of things past. I sigh the lack
of many a thing I sought. And with old woes new wail my dear time's waste. Then
can I drown an eye, unused to flow for precious friends hid in death's dateless
night and weep afresh love's long since canceled woe and moan the expense of
many a vanished sight."
[bell rings]
Alison: I'm sorry. Uh, I got a little
lost. Tomorrow, you get to read to me. Dr. Rollins, did we have an appointment?
Rollins: I thought I'd let you know in
person.
Alison: The judge set a date for the
hearing?
Rollins: - Yes.
Alison: - Thank you.
Rollins: Don't thank me yet. It's
happening in four days.
Alison: Four days?
Rollins: It was four days or six months.
Alison?
Alison: I want to enclose something in
the court notifications.
Rollins: I can take care of that.
Alison: Thank you.
Rollins: Alison, I have to remind you
the court can compel your friends to come but they may not be sympathetic to
the cause.
Alison: You don't know them the way I
do.
[Fade out to Spencer outside Washington
D.C reading Alison’s letter]
(Alison) "There isn't much time,
but I wanted you to see these words on paper and not a screen. I wanted to know
you were touching something I touched, that we were connected."
[Fade out to Aria in a book store]
Aria: All set?
[Aria picks up Ezra’s book then puts it
down and picks up Alison’s letter]
(Alison) "We've been through things
no other friends have experienced. We understand each other better than anyone
else in the world.
[Fade out to Hanna in an airplane, she
looks to her left and interacts with a baby]
Hanna: Hi.
Person: Thanks for watching her.
Hanna: We had a nice long talk.
[Hanna stares at Alison’s letter]
(Alison): But all that connects us to someone
else.
[Fades out to Juliet staring outside a
store door. A Little boy runs out from a room behind her]
Jamie: MaMa!
- [Juliet
looks back and fixes his coat]
Juliet: Ready?
Jamie: yeah
- [Juliet
opens the store door and hands him over to a neighbor so she can drop him off
to school]
Juliet: thank you
Neighbor: no problem
Juliet: love you Jamie; be careful
Jamie: Love you too mama.
- [Juliet walks back in the store and looks
at the wall of the store at the logo that reads ‘Paul’s Paradise’ she walks
towards the counter and hold Alison’s letter]
(Alison): Someone I love. Someone who
needs me.
[Fades out to Emily serving drinks,
someone gives her a tip and her goes to put it in her bag then picks Alison’s
letter up and reads]
(Alison): "I know you're coming
back to Rosewood "to speak to the court about Charlotte being released. I'm
asking for five minutes with you. Five minutes to explain. Five minutes that
can change the whole world."
[Hospital:
Charlotte: Do you think they'll come?
Alison: Of course, they'll come.
Charlotte: It's been a long time. Do you
think they're still upset with me?
Alison: I will bring you home,
Charlotte. I promise.
(Alison): Spencer, Aria, Hanna, Juliet,
Emily. I need you. Please. All my love, Alison.
[Brew]
Hanna: Guess who?
Emily: - Oh, my gosh.
Hanna: Ah! God, I missed you.
Emily: - I missed you too.
Spencer: - Oh, get a room. Ew!
Aria: We'll need a pretty big room.
Juliet: pretty sure Hanna can sort that out
for us
[All hug]
Spencer: Any hints about the Fall
collection?
Hanna: My non-disclosure agreement is
eight pages long. Claudia would literally chase me down the runway with an ax
if I let anything slip.
Juliet: Let me see this. It looked bigger
when you posted it.
Emily: So I suppose we're gonna need our
passports to attend the wedding.
Hanna: What we're talking is several
host nations. But Italy is a strong contender.
Emily: I met a nice Italian girl one
time.
Aria: No wonder it took you a year
longer to finish college.
Spencer: How's The Salk Institute?
Emily: Uh, good. I'm still trying to
find my way around.
Spencer: All that great Louis Kahn
architecture. I want a tour.
Emily: They're not doing tours right
now, but.
Hanna: - How's Liam?
Aria: Liam is adorable. But he hates
when I tell people that. Who is Spencer seeing?
Spencer: Spencer is too busy to see
anybody.
Juliet: Wait, what about the ambassador's
son?
Spencer: Regime change. Anyways
what about you Juliet? You and Paul still going strong?
Juliet: ahh yeah.
Emily: So this court thing, are we going
to be under oath?
Spencer: No oath, it's just about how we
feel about Charlotte getting out.
Aria: No, tell the truth. It is about
"A" getting out.
Hanna: Five "A"-free years. You
have to admit, that felt good.
Spencer: I mean, a lot has happened,
good, bad and ugly but all of it was uncontaminated by "A"
Juliet: And now "A" wants to go
home.
Aria: What are we gonna do?
Spencer: We drop off our bags and we go
meet Ali at 4 o'clock and listen to what she has to say.
[Store – Juliet checking up on some paper
work, Juliet’s mum walks in]
Juliet: sorry we’re closed
Hailey: is that really good for the
business?
[Juliet turns around]
Juliet: wow its like I’m seeing a ghost
Hailey: its lovely to see you too
Juliet: mum what do you want?
Hailey: to protect my daughter
Juliet: nice try, you can leave
Hailey: and to protect my grandson
Juliet: what do you mean?
Hailey: Paul told me you’re going to
rosewood today cause Alison wants you to help her get that monster out.
Juliet: Paul told you? – that’s funny cause
I never told him about this. So I’m guessing part of this agreement for him to
help me out is that he can snoop through my letters oh and sleep with my
mother. But we all know that wasn’t all his idea. Was it now mother?
Hailey: Juliet I am here to protect you.
I’d never forgive myself if anything happened to you or Jamie
Juliet: you haven’t seen me for 3 months,
no calls no texts. But you seem to answer all of Paul’s calls - I mean how else
would you have known about the hearing
Hailey: Juliet –
Juliet: just leave mum; I have nothing more
to say to you
[Juliet turns back around and Hailey leaves
– A while later Paul walks in the store]
Juliet: hi
Paul: hi, how’s everything going?
Juliet: I don’t know, you tell me?
Paul: I had to call your mum, I’m sorry I
snooped and sorry – about everything else
Juliet: I mean this is your store, I am
thankful that you have given me this job to be stable for me and my son but you
have no right. You don’t own me like that. You have no right to protect me
anymore. Neither does my mother.
Paul: cant help it
Juliet: can you just pick up Jamie and just
stay with him till I get back?
Paul: yeah course
Juliet: thank you
[Juliet walks away]
[Alison’s Classroom]
Alison: Charlotte is
getting the help she never had when she was little. Five years of treatment,
undoing all the damage. I visit her, I spend time with her. She even stayed at
my house for a weekend last Christmas.
Hanna: - They let her out?
Juliet: - It was a supervised visit.
Spencer: So Charlotte is all better now.
What does this have to do with us?
Alison: At the hearing tomorrow, the
judge will decide if she should be released. And they want to hear from people
who were involved.
Spencer: - Victim statements.
Alison: - Statements of support. Statements
that she isn't a threat to anybody. That you guys are not afraid of her
anymore. There is no reason to be afraid. You know her. You heard her story. We
all went through this together.
Aria: Yes, we did. We have the scars to
prove it too.
Hanna: You're asking us to give a
get-out-of jail-free card to someone who tried to kill us.
Alison: She's in a hospital, Hanna. She's
not in jail.
Juliet: She's lucky.
Emily: And we're lucky to be alive.
Alison: That's why your statements would
mean so much.
Spencer: Who else is speaking?
Alison: Mona demanded to be heard. She's
going to talk to the judge about the Dollhouse, and being tortured.
Hanna: What about Sara Harvey?
Alison: What about her?
Aria: Well, suppose we do talk to the
judge. They march in Sara Harvey. She gives a few choice words about what
happened to her that night at Radley?
Alison: She's not allowed to testify
because of how her criminal charges were resolved.
Juliet: Why isn't Jason here?
Alison: He doesn't agree with Dr. Rollins
and me.
Emily: Okay, you realize what you're
asking us to do. You want us to forgive Charlotte.
Alison: I don't care if you forgive her.
I'm asking you to give me my only chance at a real family.
Juliet: Alison, we're here to say how we
feel and you're asking us to lie.
Alison: Please, do this. Do this for me.
Spencer: - Pretty please? - 'With sugar
on top?'
Alison: - What?
Spencer: That's what you say on a
playground to exact a favor. We're not on the playground anymore, Alison.
Juliet: We haven't been for a long time.
Alison: Please?
[Outside]
Veronica: I am not one of those
candidates who runs for office telling you how much I hate the government 'and
wanna take it apart. Like you, I understand that the size of the problem
dictates the size of the solution needed.
Hanna: If being honest and truthful is
so damn purifying. why do I feel like the bottom of somebody's shoe?
Veronica: 'Government does the job that
only' government is big enough to do. Our courts are not the enemy of freedom.
Spencer: Look, they have the reports. Okay,
they know what Charlotte did to us when she was "A" We don't need to
talk about that. All we've to say is that we're not afraid of her. That's all
Ali wants. Then we get the hell out of here.
Aria: Is it the truth? That we're not
afraid?
Juliet: Maybe it is.
Hanna: I mean, look at us. We did get
away. We won. Maybe we didn't kill the dragon, but we definitely tamed it.
Spencer: Um, I'll be right back.
[Court]
Alison: My family has always had a
missing part.
What's missing is my sister Charlotte. Past
five years I've gotten to know come to love this missing part of my family. And
now, I wanna bring my sister home.
Spencer: I'm sure that you've read all of
the documents about who Charlotte is, and what she's done to us. Those are just
reports. One thing that I've learned from all this is that people are not
always the things that they do. Charlotte DiLaurentis poses no threat to me.
Hanna: I was angry for a long time. But
now, every morning I wake up. I drink coffee, and I walk outside. It's either
sunny or it's raining, but there I am. I'm free. I don't see why Charlotte
shouldn't have the same chance to get caught in the rain as I do. No, I'm not
afraid of her.
Juliet: one day I woke up feeling like I
should be more selfless, I should be protecting someone, I was brought in this
world to protect someone that needs me. Charlotte needs Alison and Alison is in
this world for the same reason, to protect charlotte. I am not afraid of her. I
am not afraid of charlotte.
Emily: My dad taught me that fear is
natural.
It's a good instinct. He also said that
you can decide' what you're going to be afraid of. I decided I'm not afraid of
Charlotte DiLaurentis.
Aria: Alison and Dr. Rollins have told
us how well Charlotte's been doing. How rapidly she's been able to integrate
herself into the General Hospital population. They feel strongly that
[door opens]
Ezra: I'm sorry.
Judge: Miss Montgomery.
Aria: Sorry. They feel strongly. that
now is the right time for Charlotte
Judge: Miss Montgomery, I've read the
same reports that you have.
Aria: Well, the doctors
Judge: The doctors can speak for
themselves. You're here to tell me if you'd feel safe should Charlotte
DiLaurentis leave the hospital. Miss Montgomery?
Aria: No. No, I would not feel safe.
I was on the Redline going to Braintree.
And the train stopped in the tunnel between the stations.
The power went out and, and it was dark.
No, not dark. It was black. And I was back in every box in every dark tight
space that' "A" ever put me in, and I couldn't breathe. Then I heard
a girl crying. Good. I thought somebody else is scared out of her mind. Then
the power came back on and every single person on that train was staring at me.
Because I was the girl that was crying. I don't want Charlotte released. Ever.
Hanna: Here comes the last nail in the
coffin.
Mona: I thought I could do this, but I
can't.
I've been listening to my friends how
they've managed to forgive Charlotte. I wish I could hate her, but I can't. I
can't, because I know what she went through. I was in Radley Sanitarium.
I was there for months. Charlotte was
there for years and years. Being in that place is what twisted her all out of
shape. Let her out.
Let her go home. That's all any of us
want. Is to have a home. I'm sorry.
[Radley hotel bar]
Emily: Are you okay with this?
Spencer: It's a little bit strange.
Emily: We can go somewhere else when
they get here.
Spencer: No, if you're gonna chase away
the demons you have to go to where the demons are.
Emily: You know who I thought was gonna
walk into that hearing room?
Spencer: - Who?
Emily: - Sara Harvey.
Spencer: They said that she wouldn't be
there.
Emily: Or what if she did show up? We
tell our little white lies, and in she walks. "These bitches are lying,
Your Honor." "Wanna know what they're really like?" "Let me
show you what they did to me." And she shows everybody.
[Cell phones ringing]
Spencer: So, that's that.
Emily: The judge says Charlotte can go
home.
Spencer reads: Thanks for your help,
Ali.
Hanna: Did you guys see?
Emily: We saw.
Hanna: Everyone, say hello to the only
honest woman in town.
Aria: - I'm sorry.
Juliet: - No, we're sorry.
Spencer: You're small, but you are
mighty. You put us all to shame.
Hanna: Alright, everyone turn your
phones off. Not silent, not vibrate, off.
Spencer: I can't turn my phone all the
way off.
Hanna: Spencer, one of the lifesaving
pieces of information I've learned is that these things actually have an off
button.
Aria: Do it, Spencer.
Hanna: Okay! The coven of the sacred
cocktails is now in session.
[A while later]
Spencer: You know, if you didn't know
what this place was you'd never know what this place was.
Aria: Said the real estate agent showing
you around "The House On Haunted Hill."
Spencer: I miss your faces. You guys
have such excellent faces.
Hanna: Or we should plan on seeing each
other more often.
Juliet: Yes, but not here.
Hanna: Ugh, we can make a list of
beautiful cities and go to each one of them.
Emily: And that can get expensive.
Spencer: Paris, Rome Madrid, Rio. We can
party in every one of them. And Ali and Charlotte can sit in that big, ugly
house and they can bake cookies.
Hanna: You'd think a place like this,
they'd have special drinks.
Emily: What kind of special drinks?
Hanna: We're sitting in a bar, in what
used to be a squirrel factory. But no, like, an Electroshock Margarita?
Aria: Manic depressive Mai Tai?
Spencer: You guys are seriously lacking
in any good taste. That's why I love you so much. I love each one of you.
Aria: - Spencer loves us.
Juliet: - So I heard.
Hanna: Hey, uh, can we get another
Bipolar Martini 'for my friend over here?'
Aria: Last call in Rosewood.
Emily: Can we just go someplace and
dance?
Hanna: That's why God invented the
mini-bar, Em.
We can go back to my suite. 'Tis but the
crank of the evening. Hey, don't. My mom runs this joint.
Spencer: You guys wanna hear something
funny?
Emily: I'd love to hear something funny.
Spencer: I thought it wouldn't matter what
we said to the judge. Because I thought they would never let her out. I thought
that we could just lie for Ali one more time and it wouldn't matter. But it
did. They let "A" out.
Juliet: Wouldn't it just be the biggest
cosmic joke ever if Charlotte gets to live happily ever after?
Emily: If she can do it, so can we. A
toast to Charlotte.
All: - To Charlotte.
[Hanna’s hotel room]
Hanna: Why can't they make quiet ice
cubes? - Here, hydrate.
Spencer: - Thanks.
Hanna: Are you going to see Toby?
Spencer: I already did. He's building a
house.
Hanna: He's building a house? With
tools? - By himself?
Spencer: - Yup.
Hanna: Wow.
Spencer: Yeah. Wow, indeed. All I got was
a chair, and some lucky girl is gonna get an entire house.
Hanna: Sit. Stay.
Spencer: She's not a poodle.
[Hanna on the phone]
Hanna: 'Hello.
Alison: Hanna, it's me.
Hanna: - Hi, Ali.
Alison: 'Did Charlotte come to your
hotel room last night?'
Hanna: Mm, no she didn't, what's wrong?
Alison: I don't know where she is.
Hanna: You don't know where Charlotte
is?
Alison: 'Dr. Rollins brought her home
last night. We talked for hours, she was so happy and grateful. We went to bed,
and this morning she was gone. All of her stuff is here but she isn't.
Dr. Rollins wants me to call the police.
Hanna: Yeah, you should.
Alison: Can you call the others and come
over?
Hanna: Yeah, I will, but, Ali, don't
wait. Call the police.
Alison: Please hurry.
[Hangs up]
Hanna: Charlotte was there when they
went to sleep and now she's gone.
[Funeral]
Aria: This isn't happening.
Caleb: I'm gonna bring the car.
Spencer: - Okay.
Juliet: What is she doing here?
Emily: Making sure that Charlotte's
really dead.
Spencer: Really, most sincerely dead.
Hanna: Let's go.
Lorenzo: - Hello.
Emily: - Lorenzo.
Hanna: - How are you?
Lorenzo: - Alright. Under the
circumstances. I was wondering what your plans are for the next couple of days.
If you're gonna stay in Rosewood.
Juliet: Why?
Lorenzo: It'd make it easier if you
stayed.
Spencer: Make what easier?
Lorenzo: We have the autopsy report on
Charlotte DiLaurentis. Charlotte was dead when she was thrown from the bell
tower.
Aria: Thrown?
Hanna: She was murdered?
Lorenzo: The death's been ruled a
homicide, yeah. You'll get a call.
Aria: Was someone waiting for Charlotte
to get released so they can kill her?
Spencer: Don't go there.
Hanna: Spencer, we've lived there for a
long time.
Juliet: yeah. It's not like it's a long
commute.
Emily: I wanna go home.
Spencer: We are home.
This is the actor playing Jamie - Juliet's son.
