[Radley Spa]

Emily: I've never had a salt rub. Does it hurt?

Hanna: Can't be worse than a sugar wax.

Spencer: Why didn't she meet us here?

Hanna: - Spencer, let it go.

Spencer: - Why lie? Why not just say I snuck out to go meet Ezra?

Juliet: She's got a boyfriend in Cambridge.

Spencer: Oh, please, this is about so much more than that. If we had never told her about that security tape, she wouldn't have

Hanna: This is so not relaxing.

Spencer: Hanna, the police didn't ask us to stick around to exfoliate. There are gonna be questions.

Emily: Aria doesn't know where Ezra went after she left him.

Spencer: Yeah, but she knows that he was in a dark place.

Juliet: Just 'cause you're depressed doesn't mean you pick up a weapon.

Hanna: Okay, you guys, my mom gave us these passes as a gift. We're here to chill, not spill.

Spencer: It's just so twisted. She hasn't even spoken to Fitz in, like, five years and now if he did this for her they're gonna be bound together forever.

Hanna: Not because of the tape. It's gone.

Emily: What? You erased it? - When?

Hanna: - Doesn't matter. It's done. Hanna) What do you guys think this room was before they turned the nuthouse into a spa?

Juliet: Why?

Hanna: The sauna smelled like burned hair.

Spencer: Okay, that's it. I'm done chilling.

Hanna: - Wait, what are you guys doing?

Spencer: - I'm gonna go get dressed. I have to meet with Melissa. We have a meeting with my mom's campaign team.

Emily: - Yeah, I think I wanna go too.

Juliet: same

Hanna: - Wait, we can't leave. We have appointments! You can't do this. Come on, guys.

Emily: I left my key in there.

[New store Paul’s Paradise – Juliet is unpacking and Spencer, Emily and Hanna enter]

Spencer: damn this place is crazy

Hanna: yeah

Juliet: hi guys

Emily: hi

Spencer: listen we just came to wish you good luck

Emily: and we wish we could help but

Juliet: I understand don’t worry about it guys, I don’t expect you guys to help. After everything that’s been happening

Hanna: is that a toy truck over there

Juliet: ah yeah erm they want to introduce toys

Hanna: in a clothing store?

Juliet: yeah its weird

Emily: Paul has all the ideas

Juliet: yeah – anyways I need to unpack, I’ll catch up with you guys later okay?

Spencer: yeah okay bye

All: bye

[Juliet goes to pick the toy up and puts it on the table]

[Aria’s room]

Juliet: When do you have to go in?

Hanna: - 5. He already grilled my mom

Juliet: Alright, Hanna. Don't forget. This is Lorenzo, not Wilden.

Emily: He's not bent on making Ali's friends look like

Hanna: Friends? Have you heard from Ali since that dinner? Have you? Alison is not looking to make any more friendship bracelets.

Emily: I thought you said Lucas was gonna help. You're worried he won't come through?

Hanna: I'm worried about everything, Emily. My mom losing her job, my boss firing me because I didn't send the right laxative to Tokyo. Everything!

Aria: Do you wanna mix that with water?

Hanna: No. God, I hate that I'm in this place and being forced to lie like I'm in 11th grade all over again.

[cell phone ringing]

Aria: Oh, it's Liam.

Liam: Hey, you got a minute?

Aria: Sure, what's up? Why are you unbuttoning your shirt?

Liam: Uh, I have to go pick up Jillian's mother at Logan and take her to this trustee thing at the Gardner. Now officially a male escort for 80-year-old cougars.

Aria: Um, Liam?'

Liam: Mm-hmm.

Aria: I am not alone. Hanna, Juliet and Emily are here.

Liam: Oh! - Hey, guys.

Hanna, Juliet, Emily:  Hi.

Liam: I just wanted to give you a quick update. Um, Jillian said if she doesn't have something from Fitz by tomorrow, she's moving on.

Aria: What? Why?

Liam: She left me this long message saying that he was a fraud and he was two months away 'from teaching creative writing on a cruise ship. Okay.

Aria: Well, she's wrong. She'll have something on her desk by tomorrow. Will you tell her that, please?

Liam: Yeah. I miss you.

Aria: I miss you too. What?

Hanna: Why are you worried about his book? Those are words. Who cares about the stuff he makes up? Why don't you ask him for the truth about the night Charlotte was killed?

[cell phone beeps]

Hanna: - What was that?

Emily: - Timer. On my phone. My mom asked me to meet her. I've to use the bathroom.

Juliet: What are you gonna say if the police call you in?

Hanna: Are you telling them that you met up with Fitz?

Aria: No, I was asleep the whole time, remember? Oh, Hanna, no, no. Please drop that in the kitchen.

[A while later]

Juliet: well I’m off, I still need to go and unpack

Aria: yeah okay

Juliet: everything will be fine Aria

Aria: yeah I hope so

Juliet: bye

Aria: bye

[Ezra’s apartment]

Hanna: Is she already here? Do come in.

Ezra: Join the party. Anybody bring torches, pitchforks? Anything like that?

Hanna: You didn't protect Aria, okay? I protected Aria!

Juliet: Hanna

Hanna: And we are not gonna go down for this because you thought that you had to slay the dragon!

Spencer: Hanna, please

Hanna: What? My mom may go down for this too. He needs to own up to what he did!

Spencer: Hanna, just let me talk. Look, you can say that it was self-defense. Charlotte had a very long history of throwing the first punch and nobody would ever question you.

Ezra: They can't! You seem to already have all the answers.

Emily: Ezra, it wasn't just some random car that hit her, okay? Somebody planned this to make it look like she jumped.

Juliet: And you might have already had that plan in your head.

Spencer: That paper that I wrote, "Texas vs.

Kellner." You read it the summer before I published it when we met up at DuPont Circle right before your reading.

Ezra: Okay. It's time for you to leave.

Juliet: Not until you're honest with us.

Ezra: Honest, Juliet? You are not asking me to change your grade you are asking me to confess to a murder.

Emily: Where did you go that night after you left Aria? Why the hell can't you tell us?

Aria: Emily, leave him alone.

Emily: Why? Sara Harvey won't leave us alone. She's sticking around Rosewood to punish us, Aria!

Juliet: and she’s really good at that

Emily: And she will use this against us until it looks like we planned this and Ezra just carried out our wishes!

Ezra: It's time to go. Now! Get out!

Hanna: Okay. We're gonna leave. But you two better figure this out before the police do.

[Juliet apartment – Jamie’s room]

Juliet: you liking your new room baby?

Jamie: yeah it’s cool

Juliet: soon we can make it your favorite colour and put all your toys up

Jamie: yeah. I like it here

Juliet: really?

Jamie: yeah I like knowing where you grew up

Juliet: maybe one day I can show you where I use to go to school and everything else

Jamie: yeah I’d like that a lot

Juliet: okay, it’s a date

[A while later – Juliet is siting on the floor in Jamie’s room with Jamie while he is playing with his toys, she gets a text saying]

“You know who did it and I’m going to make you talk” – unknown

Season 6 Episode 12 Charlotte’s Web

[Radley hotel bar]

Aria: When did you tell Jordan?

Hanna: Tell him what?

Aria: This town, Charlotte everything we went through.

Spencer: She means the things she can't Google.

Hanna: When I knew I was falling in love with him.

Aria: Hmm, Liam and I aren't there yet but I know he's gonna have a lot of questions when I get back. You’re lucky Juliet, Paul knew you from the beginning

Juliet: yeah lucky me

Emily: Are you sure you should leave tonight? You know the cops wanna talk to us before we go.

Aria: Yeah, I've already missed a few days of work.

Hanna: We all have, Aria. We're staying.

Aria: Okay, well, my boss asked me to come back. You guys, this wasn't an easy job to get. I can't lose it.

Hanna: They're gonna ask us questions about that night.

Aria: Yeah, we were all together and none of us left the hotel. What else is there to say?

Spencer: I think the person the cops should really be talking to is right over there.

Juliet: Can she really not sign her own name?

Emily: I still haven't told anyone about what happened, have you?

Aria: Do we really believe she doesn't remember?

Hanna: I think she's lying. Just like she lied about having Swedish Syndrome to get her sentence reduced.

Spencer: Stockholm Syndrome. And it is a real thing.

Hanna: She was never kidnapped, Spencer. She was living out in the world. She chose to help Charlotte torture us.

Juliet: You know, the judge didn't see it that way.

Spencer: If Sara really was brainwashed, she'd have a pretty strong motive to kill Charlotte.

Revenge.

Aria: Oh, I hate to break up this party but I gotta get going.

Hanna: - I'll walk you to your car.

[All hug]

[Store – Juliet walks in to see Paul and Jamie playing together. Jamie looks back]

Jamie: Mama

[Jamie runs and hugs Juliet]

Juliet: aahh I missed you baby! What you doing?

Jamie: Paul and I are making cars

Juliet: wow – how about you go upstairs so mum can read you a story and tuck you in okay?

Jamie: okay!

[Jamie runs upstairs]

Paul: how was it?

Juliet: terrible – I want to ask you something

Paul: yeah go on

Juliet: would it be okay if you can give me a job at the rosewood store

Paul: Juliet

Juliet: please, I mean charlotte isn’t there no more and I need to stay in rosewood and I cant do that if I have no money

Paul: okay I’ll sort it out

Juliet: thank you

Paul: did you really drive 45mins to get here, when you need to drive back?

Juliet: I missed my son

Paul: I can guarantee you he missed you too – and so did I

[A while later in Jamie’s room, Juliet is laying down with him on his bed – phone rings]

Juliet: hi Hanna

Hanna: Alison wants us for dinner, can you make it?

Juliet: yeah sure I can

Hanna: with Paul?

Juliet: err I don’t know about Paul

Hanna: come on! I haven’t seen him since like 5 years

Juliet: okay

Hanna: bye

Juliet: bye

[Juliet walks out of Jamie’s room and into the kitchen to find Paul there]

Juliet: hi, I wanted to ask you something – would you like to go for dinner sometime?

Paul: really?

Juliet: yeah Alison invited us for dinner and she wanted you there so does the others

Paul: oh right. So do we have to pretend to be a couple?

Juliet: yeah

Paul: perfect

Juliet: if you feel uncomfortable just let me know

Paul: no it’s fine, anything for you.

Juliet: thank you

Paul: welcome

[Alison’s house]

Emily: Hi. Oh, wow. You guys bring enough food?

Hanna: Oh, there's more.

Spencer: Hey, Hanna. Hi, Jordan.

Jorden: Good to see you.

Spencer: - You too.

Hanna: Uh, Jordan, this is Caleb. Caleb, Jordan.

Jorden: I finally get to meet the Caleb Rivers.

Caleb: Yeah, it's nice to meet you.

Juliet: hi guys

Spencer: oh my god Paul

Hanna: it’s been years since we saw you

Paul: maybe 5

Jorden: Any chance you wanna help me get the last load of food from the car?

Caleb: Uh, yeah. How much did you guys bring?

Jorden: I know. I come from a big family. Always over-order.

Paul: yeah I’ll come with you

Emily: They'll be fine.

Juliet: - How are you doing?

Alison: - I'm holding up, I guess. I'm glad everyone could make it Except for Aria. Has anyone talked to her?

Emily: Uh, not since she left.

Alison: Yeah, I've called her a few times. She hasn't returned my calls.

Hanna: She's probably just busy with work.

Alison: What are you doing?

Spencer: I was just gonna make some room.

Alison: I bought those for Charlotte to welcome her home.

Emily: Spence.

Spencer: Okay. Well, then the flowers can stay there.

Alison: I'll go get some serving spoons.

[A while later]

Jorden: so how long have you been with Juliet?

Paul: since she was in high school – yeah sounds a bit complicated but I just never went to college and straight away got involved in the family business. Juliet and I broke up when she left high school but then we got back together after a year.

Jorden: wow – and I thought you were the new guy like myself

Paul: what do you mean?

Jorden: well I have this feeling, sounds weird I know

Paul: - no no believe me it doesn’t, I know exactly how you are feeling right now. Just keep this between us, these girls will always have a place for their first love, we just have to grow to accept that.

[Cut to]

Emily: you okay?

Juliet: yeah yeah erm I’m fine it just

Emily: I get it, after this long you are with a guy you always dreamt of and he still hasn’t put a ring on it

Juliet: - I don’t care about that Emily

Emily: then what is it?

Juliet: have you ever felt like you’re suppose to be with someone else but fate just has other ideas for you

Emily: all the time. But you can’t let fate ruin your chances of happiness. Having chances is so much better than having fate by your side

[Dinner table]

Alison: Thank you. I, uh, I appreciate you calling.

Emily: Ali, who was that?

Alison: Lorenzo. He said he'd call with any updates.

Spencer: - What was it? The update?

Alison: - Time of death. Charlotte was killed around 4:00 am.

Hanna: Are you okay?

Alison: Lorenzo says this is good news. They're one step closer to finding her killer. Let's say grace.

Juliet: that’s good.

Jorden: Hanna, hand.

Alison: Thank you, Heavenly Father for this healing food and these dear friends and thank you to all those who are working tirelessly 'to seek justice for Charlotte. And thank you for helping the police find Charlotte's killer and anyone who could be protecting him or her. Thank you always for your guidance and love. Amen.

All: Amen.

[Store – Juliet and Paul come back from dinner]

Juliet: Thank you for tonight, you didn’t have to come

Paul: I know. I am always the man of my word

Juliet: yeah you are

Paul: but I do think you need to tell your friends about you and I. I’m saying this because I have a slight hope that we can be together again. And I know that’s never going to happen. Going to go to bed. Good night.

Juliet: night.

[Radley security room]

Juliet: Where does Jordan think you are?

Hanna: Talking to my mom.

Emily: There she is.

Hanna: It's 3:12.

Emily: What the hell was Ezra doing there?

Juliet: So much for just going to her car.

Spencer: Hey, the hallway's clear but there's a cleaning crew down the hall.

Emily: - Okay, hurry.

Hanna: - I'm going as fast as I can.

Spencer: - What did I miss?

Juliet: - Aria left the hotel with Ezra.

Spencer: What?

Hanna: But she didn't come back with him. It's 4:28.

Emily: What time did Ali say that Charlotte was killed?

Spencer: Close to 4:00.

Juliet: Just because she came back after the time of murder' it doesn't mean that she had anything to do with it.

Hanna: No, but it doesn't look good.

Emily: What do we do? Do we erase the video?

Hanna: We're not in high school, Emily. We're gonna talk to Aria.

Emily: She won't tell us anything.

Spencer: Well, she doesn't have a choice this time.

[Aria’s house]

Aria: How did you know I was back?

Emily: I saw you visiting Ezra.

Juliet: We know you saw him the night Charlotte died.

Hanna: We know you left the hotel for more than five minutes.

Spencer: Yeah, and by the time you came back Charlotte was already dead.

Hanna: It's time to tell us what really happened that night.

Aria: He told me he went home afterwards. But I don't know. He-he was so angry.

Juliet: - Aria, what is it?

Aria: - I know him. And I know that Ezra can't look me in the eye when he lies. And when he told me he went home, he didn't Look at me.

Hanna: Well, we have to tell someone. - Lorenzo, Ali, anyone.

Emily: - No, we don't. Now, this is a giant leap. We're talking about Ezra killing someone. I mean, until we have actual proof we don't tell anyone anything.

Spencer: It's not. It's not a giant leap. In fact, I think I told Ezra how to do it. Ezra was on his book tour and we got together for lunch. He was still trying to figure out what he wanted to write next and he said that he was toying around with the idea of a murder mystery. I had just written my paper so I told him about the case in detail.

Juliet: Maybe Ezra did do this to protect you.

Aria: Protect me? By copying some bizarre murder from the past?

Emily: Spencer, this was a public case. You weren't the only two who knew about it.

Spencer: He saw how upset Aria was in the courtroom. And he's still angry about what happened to Nicole. I mean, who knows what he's capable of now?

Hanna: If he did kill Charlotte and the police find out It's gonna look like you were involved too. You left the hotel with Ezra and you came back a half hour after Charlotte was killed.

Aria: Nobody can see that security footage.

[Juliet comes home to find Paul asleep on the sofa; she stares at him for a bit and walks to her room looking back at Paul before she walks in]
